Job Description
Crescent City Schools is seeking a full-time social worker for The Constellations Program. The social worker will provide quality school-based social work services, including assessment, intervention, IEP planning, and communication with teachers, families, and staff.
Requirements
- Current Louisiana license as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Advanced understanding of strategies for students with autism, developmental delay, specific learning disabilities, and behavior disorders
- Strong skills in partnering with families
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of colleagues, parents, families, and community members
- Commitment to meeting the needs of a diverse student population
- Track record of being a team player and community-minded
- Adherence to high professional and ethical standards
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to conduct compliant mental health evaluation components
