Responsible for generating profitable capacity through the effective deployment of carrier sales resources for specified region, developing performance goals for carrier sales, and managing region to achieve objectives established in the Company’s Strategic Plan.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of transportation brokerage and/or logistics procurement experience
- Proficiency in utilizing industry capacity and pricing tools (DAT, GetLoaded, Truckstop, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to inspire others to share company vision and support them to reach company/individual goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates effective negotiation skills
- Detailed understanding of the truckload industry to include equipment types, carrier capabilities, pricing and regulations
- Strong understanding of US Geography
