Job Description
Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist II to provide accurate radiation treatment to patients in pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations under the supervision of experienced radiation oncology team leaders. The role involves treatment planning, equipment setup, patient education, and collaboration with medical physics and other teams. The position requires a strong understanding of radiation protection and commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
Requirements
- Review prescription and patient charts for accuracy.
- Prepare and construct equipment for radiation therapy.
- Administer radiation therapy according to established protocols.
- Educate patients about treatment reactions and post-treatment care.
- Analyze problems and escalate concerns appropriately.
