PHARMACIST

Requirements

• Compound, label and package medications and pharmaceuticals.
• Review patient medication profile for drug compatibilities, allergies, and appropriateness of drug order.
• Provide drug information to physicians, health care professionals, and patients.
• Dispense medications for investigational drug trials.
• Comply with state and federal pharmacy regulations and requirements.
• Supervise technicians and ensure secure storage of narcotics and other controlled substances.
• Prepare computerized reports and participate in community education programs.
• Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards.
