Job Description
Morristown-Hamblen Health System is seeking a Prn/OCC MRI TECH to perform complex MRI procedures, including image acquisition, evaluation, and prevention of patient safety. The position involves maintaining a safe MRI environment and assisting radiologists. This is a PRN/OCC role requiring dedication to high-quality patient care and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
- Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of high field strength magnets and related equipment.
- Select and operate the magnetic resonance system, surface coils, physiologic gating devices, and associated equipment.
- Maintain the four (4) MRI safety zones per ACR guidelines.
- Obtain high quality MRI scans in a timely manner.
- Assist radiologist in developing new protocols and MRI imaging techniques.
- Educate, train, and assist new staff members.
- Follow safety standards and maintain BLS certification.
