CREDENTIALING SPEC

Covenant Health is seeking a Credentialing Specialist for their Knoxville Business Office Services (KBOS) team. This full-time, 80-hour-per-payperiod role involves managing tasks related to Out of State Medicaid Payer Enrollment and Hospital and Physician credentialing, as well as provider credentialing applications. The role requires liaison work with vendors and requires the credentialing specialist to process paperwork, track applications, and maintain accurate credential files.

Requirements

• Process payer enrollment, Facility and Physician enrollment, hospital credentialing applications, expiration renewals and re-verification of credential statuses.
• Maintain accurate data in the credentialing database.
• Follow-up on Payer enrollment and track/verify applications.
• Verify initial and re-verifies existing credential statuses.
