We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our Evidence Development team, where you will play a key role in developing and enhancing our Data Science services for clients. As a member of this multidisciplinary team, you will work with various teams to suggest data science solutions to business problems, and take full ownership to drive ideas forward and deliver meaningful outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience working in a professional data science role in the healthcare sector
- A degree level or higher qualification in a STEM discipline (minimum 2.1)
- Expertise in programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL, HTML, CSS, Flask, SQL)
- Experience with the application of machine learning models and algorithms
- Knowledge and application of natural language processing techniques
- Proven experience designing and building functional, user-focused web applications or tools from end to end
- Excellent data visualisation skills
- A passion for working in, and making a difference to, the healthcare sector
- Strong business acumen
- The ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to understand their technical needs, propose tailored solutions, and to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction
- The ability to adapt and work independently on projects that span several teams
- Experience in implementing new processes and systems to support the integration and application of data science approaches
- A willingness to learn new technologies
