Data Scientist

The Data Scientist role will support the expansion of the company's Data Science services for clients, playing a key role in developing and enhancing data science solutions for business problems. The role will involve building bespoke web applications and interactive tools, managing databases, and expanding service offerings through machine learning opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional data science role in the healthcare sector, with a degree-level qualification in a STEM discipline and expertise in programming languages, machine learning, and natural language processing.

Requirements

• Experience working in a professional data science role in the healthcare sector
• A degree-level or higher qualification in a STEM discipline (minimum 2.1)
• Expertise in programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL, HTML, CSS, Flask, SQL)
• Experience with the application of machine learning models and algorithms
• Knowledge and application of natural language processing techniques
• Proven experience designing and building functional, user-focused web applications or tools from end to end
• Excellent data visualisation skills
