Job Description
Corning is seeking a skilled Machinist to join their team. This role supports research and development projects by fabricating and assembling prototypes. The position requires fabrication, machining, and problem-solving skills, ideally in Mastercam or SolidWorks. Responsibilities include setup, operation of CNC machines, writing programs, and quality inspections.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required.
- 4 years of applicable machine shop experience or military equivalent, or Journeyman or Class ‘A’ status.
- 2-year Machine Tool Technology degree.
- Certificate in a relevant field with a minimum of 1-year experience.
