Food Service Substitute Assistant

Join our dedicated team at a licensed childcare center and play a vital role in supporting daily meal service operations. You will help ensure that children receive nutritious, well-prepared meals and snacks in a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Assist with the preparation, warming, and portioning of breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks
• Deliver meals and snacks to classrooms in a timely and organized manner
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
• Support classroom staff with food service needs
• Ensure compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations and center policies
• Monitor and restock food supplies and utensils
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures

Benefits
