At Corbion, we exist to champion preservation in all its forms, preserving food and food production, health, and our planet. As an Operator, you will work under the direction of the production/shift manager to operate automated production equipment and perform manual tasks in a clean room environment to produce biomaterial based polymers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years' experience in a production or manufacturing operations
• Operational Knowledge of processing equipment
• Knowledge and hands on experience with weighing raw materials on an analytical scale
• Able to perform bulk measurements at multiple areas of the production process
• Understand basic chemistry and math terms/nomenclature
• Possesses a working knowledge of pumps and the mechanical operation of them
• Able to determine, watch and monitor production operations, pressure and performing tracing activities
• Understands process schematics for pumps, pressure, tank operations, filters, etc.
• Ability to trace product through vessels
• Understands or is able to learn the compatibility of the chemicals and gasses
• Good math skills
• Able to work independently, as well as a part of a cross functional team
• Must be procedure oriented
• Excellent time management skills and a self-starter
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Able to display good judgement
