Job Description
Cooper University Health Care is seeking a Patient Services Representative to provide individualized patient service. This role involves registration, appointment management, patient communication, and handling co-pays. The position requires flexibility and strong customer service skills in a fast-paced medical setting.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience working in a medical facility
- Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals
- Epic experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification preferred
