Accountant at ContiTech Belgium BV

ContiTech is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join its team in Machelen, Belgium. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably SAP, Exact
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and financial reporting standards of IRFS and local GAP Belgium (preferably also NL)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• CPA certification or equivalent is preferred
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis is a plus
• Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) is beneficial
• Experience in process improvement initiatives is desirable
