FOIA Analyst

CGS is seeking a FOIA Analyst to support the legal mission of a large federal agency. The role involves processing FOIA requests, creating correspondence, negotiating, and serving as a liaison. Requirements

• Six (6) years of experience processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of FOIA rules and regulations; specifically applying exemptions b(4), b(5), and b(6).
• Experience redacting records with trade secrets and confidential commercial information.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
