Estimating Intern (Summer 2026)

This temporary Estimating Intern position within an estimating team at a construction company is seeking individuals to assist with quantity take-offs, subcontractor coordination, product research, and document management. The role provides hands-on experience in cost comparisons and record maintenance, aligning estimates with project goals and offering a dynamic construction environment. Interns will collaborate with various teams to support bid development and provide cost analyses.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of construction processes, materials, systems, and terminology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for cost tracking and analysis.
• Familiarity with estimating tools or software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar platforms) is a plus.
• Capable of conducting vendor, material, and cost research.
• Experience organizing or contributing to bid documentation, cost databases, and takeoff files (preferred)
