Fitter Supervisor

Fitter Supervisor responsible for coordinating and executing projects, adhering to company policies, and ensuring safety and quality. Requires ability to read blueprints, work at varying heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• Work with a team to coordinate and ensure the successful execution of all projects.
• Adhere and enforce all company policies, procedures, and guiding principles.
• Adhere and enforce all company safety and environmental policies.
• Support and assist with the completion of all required paperwork and reporting documentation.
• Inspect projects/vessels for any condition changes and correct any conditions that are unsafe for entry or hot work.
• Perform continual inspections throughout projects/vessels and correct any deficiencies in quality.
• Organize production crews so that each task is appropriately staffed and ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, and safety.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding planning of activities that may affect the yard.
• Ensure that all crane lifts are performed with the appropriate rigging, taglines, and personnel as required.
• Identify any problems associated with safety or scope of work and coordinate with the supervisors to develop and implement a corrective action plan.
• Communicate any changes in scope of work to the supervisors and assist with developing a plan to address the changes.
• Assist the supervisors with tracking budget hours and schedules.
• Assist with employee evaluations and recommend status changes or disciplinary actions.
