Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) to support individuals facing mental health and substance use recovery through psychoeducation, treatment, and resource connections. The role focuses on crisis intervention, coordinating care, and contributing to a person-centered treatment plan. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field
• Licensed by Virginia Board of Counseling as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC)
• Must be fully vaccinated with proper documentation or be exempt.
• Valid Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services (DBHDS) background check and Virginia Department of Social Services (VDS) background check
• Must be able to pass Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services (DBHDS) background check
• Must be able to pass Virginia Department of Social Services (VDS) Office of Background Investigations - Central Registry Search
• Must be able to pass Virginia Department of Mental Health (DMH) background check (sometimes required depending on specific state regulations)
