The Library Assistant performs support services in one or more library functions in the library or learning resource center of a Community College. The position provides services to assist the library in its support of the College’s learning and instructional goals.
Requirements
- Associates degree
- 2 years of related experience (preferred)
- Experience with Librarianship functional areas
- Experience with library patrons
- Proven ability to work with culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and students
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong Information technology literacy skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)
