Job Description
Concept Rehab is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide services for patients with mobility, cognition, strength, and function challenges. The position involves treating patients under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist, conducting in-services, training, and documenting care. The role is crucial for both internal team and external customers, and requires excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements
- Treat patients based on treatment plans
- Communicate with therapists, patients, and staff
- Participate in meetings
- Record treatment notes and submit daily billing
- Instruct families and staff on maintenance programs
- Recommend equipment to OT
- Train OTAs for local universities and colleges
- Maintain personal ethics and confidentiality
