Job Description
Concept Rehab is seeking Occupational Therapy Assistants to provide therapy for patients with mobility, cognition, function, strength, and positioning difficulties. The role involves treatment planning, in-service training for caregivers and facility staff, documentation of services, and collaboration with families and physicians. This position is supported by licensed therapists and offers a dynamic work environment.
Requirements
- Treat patients according to treatment plans under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
- Communicate with patients, families, and facility staff.
- Record treatment notes, progress notes, and provide objective input for discharge summaries.
- Instruct patients and their families in maintenance programs.
- Recommend equipment to support clinical service delivery.
- Report problems with department equipment.
- Act as a clinical trainer for OTAs.
