Job Description
CommUnityCare Health Centers is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to provide chair-side assistance to dentists, taking X-rays, impressions, ordering supplies, and maintaining patient records. The role involves both direct and indirect care, collaborating with team members and adhering to quality standards. Responsibilities include patient care, adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, and maintaining positive relationships with patients and families.
Requirements
- Assist the dentist with oral hygiene instruction.
- Take, develop, and mount X-rays.
- Take impressions of dentures.
- Order and maintain supply inventory.
- Accurately and completely document status, care rendered, and patient responses.
- Participate in daily huddles and meetings.
- Complete documentation in timely manner.
- Maintain licensure and certification requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with co-workers.
