School Violence Interrupter

The Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) is seeking a School Violence Interrupter to address behavioral disruptions and incidents of violence on school campuses through linguistic or culturally competent programs and holistic services. The successful candidate will form initial contact with youth at schools and in the community, assess their needs, and make referrals to connect them with behavioral health and intervention services.

Requirements

• Conduct regular outreach services in schools and on the streets
• Offer holistic and culturally competent services to victims of crime and their families
• Work in conjunction with other CYC programs and community service providers
• Provide mediation in response to community conflicts
• Maintain accurate documentation on case notes and statistics
