Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to provide customer service while coordinating services provided in the Integrated Health Center. The Medical Assistant will serve as the primary contact for client service-related issues and perform various clinical and clerical duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Completion of formal Medical Training Program (Certificate, Diploma, Associate’s Degree, CNA, STNA, etc)
• Clinical training and experience with vital signs, injections, point-of-care lab testing, EKGs, provider assistance, etc
• Knowledge of integrated health care, client rights, and mental health
• A deeply held belief in CSS’s recovery-centered mission
• Ability to develop positive relationships with individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse challenges
• Excellent organizational, attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
