Day Program Instructor (DSP) Daytona Beach

We are looking for people that have a passion for helping others and making a difference in someone's life. The Day Program Instructor will assist Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and work toward meeting personal goals.

Requirements

• Ensure the health and safety of all Individuals, and that Individuals are treated with kindness, dignity and respect.
• Complete all documentation requirements, including daily notes/service logs and summaries on progress toward established support plan and implementation plan goals.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.
• Greet / assist and escort Individuals to their classrooms, and all areas within the facility.
• Assist Individuals with meals. Assist Individuals with bowel and bladder functions.
