Job Description
We are seeking a Program Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA to teach individuals with developmental disabilities how to acquire skills needed to live independently. The role requires handling pressure, exercising patience, and responding to crisis situations.
Requirements
- Complete staff evaluations
- Monitor and maintain residential budgets
- Manage staff schedules
- Monitor and schedule required staff trainings
- Monitor fiscal, medical, personal, and IHP documentation
- Participate in Circle(s) of Support
- Monitor and schedule house and vehicle maintenance
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring of consumer’s finances
- Monitor and report the health and medical needs of individuals
- Build a support network between individuals and community members
- Prepare progress reports
- Ensure consistent service delivery
- Serve as an active member of an individual’s Inter-Disciplinary Team
- Submit monthly written reports
- Perform the duties of Direct Support Professionals as necessary
