PA Community Based Day Program- Direct Support Professional (DSP) Delaware County, PA

Community Interactions, Inc. is seeking Therapeutic and Direct Support Professionals to support and mentor Adults with Developmental and Physical Disabilities. The job involves providing quality person-centered services to customers, mentoring and supporting individuals, and ensuring their health, welfare, and safety according to Individual Service/Support Plans.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2 years of experience working with persons Autism preferred
• Valid driver’s license with minimum 3 years of driving history, and personal vehicle in compliance with State Laws to transport Consumers
• Ability to understand and support licensed programs including regulatory compliance, and policies concerning care, treatment, and inclusion in community settings
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with computers
