Job Description
Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the hospital's financial planning and operations. The CFO will oversee the hospital's finances, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and developing strategic financial plans. They will also provide financial leadership to the hospital board and assist in the CEO's absence.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in finance, accounting, business or a related discipline
- CPA designation preferred
- 5-7 years of progressive career experience in Hospital Finance/Accounting
- Knowledge of operations for Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
- Experience with Meditech is a plus
- Knowledge of hospital and healthcare practices and laws
- Knowledge of financial management, accounting systems, treasury practices, risk management, and revenue cycle management
- Knowledge of leadership, strategic management, change management, communications, and problem solving
