Job Description
Duties include instruction, counseling, curriculum development, and assessment. Must have a minimum of three years of verified occupational experience in welding and a working knowledge of instructional theory and welding techniques.
Requirements
- Teach students in person through lectures, discussions, and hands-on training
- Counsel students in a professional manner, offering constructive, encouraging, and timely feedback
- Collaborate and assist the Department Head in the development of curriculum
- Plan lessons and assignments, teach courses, prepare teaching materials and labs
- Assess students' progress by grading assignments, exams, and other work
- Provide individual tutoring or remedial instruction to students who require it
