Area Manager - Mill Services

We are seeking an Area Manager - Mill Services to manage, schedule and provide direction for day to day operations of the Rolling Mill - Mill Services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Mill Experience and a strong understanding of Steel Rolling theories and fundamentals.

Requirements

• Manage, schedule and provide direction for day to day operations of the Rolling Mill - Mill Services
• Advocate sound business practices to support mill operational processes to produce a quality product within budget
• Assist in developing short-term and long-term production goals and capital requirements necessary to facilitate these objectives
• Establish and maintain production procedures and recordkeeping of process changes
• Process Management - Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and other forms of data analytics to meet or exceed departmental goals, objectives, & forecasting models.
• Ensure that the business plan objectives for cost and tonnage projections are met
• Ensure an environment of continuous improvement is maintained and work closely with other CMC counterparts to identify areas of improvement
• Must champion Safety and promote safety by example in all aspects of the operations
