Senior Catering Sales Manager | The SOMM Hotel & Spa

The Senior Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals of assigned market segments through proactive sales efforts, client development, and relationship management. The role involves soliciting and securing new business, participating in trade shows and events, and creating a seamless experience for clients from sales to event management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of hospitality sales experience
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in sales and/or event management
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately read/write business correspondence
• Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
• Strong personal skills, including time management, information analysis, problem-solving, planning and organizing, decision making, problem solving, and delivery of results
• Strong interpersonal influence skills, including coaching, motivating, delegating, and relationship-building
• Demonstrates a strong grasp of mathematical operations and analytical mindset
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality sales platforms
• Ability to travel and present to senior management and clients
