Job Description
This is an on-site Advanced Manufacturing Work Study position for Federal Work Studies students. The role involves assisting in AM&F labs, preparing equipment for demonstrations, operating machinery, and performing basic fabrication tasks. This position requires attention to safety and a basic understanding of the AM&F curriculum.
Requirements
- Prepare equipment for demonstrations and lessons
- Assist students in troubleshooting equipment
- Process and prepare materials for exams, tests, and fabrication
- Complete basic fabrication tasks
- Basic understanding of AM&F curriculum
- Excellent people skills for direct interactions with students
- KNOWLEDGE of AM&F Lab equipment and operations
- Appropriate attention to safety
- Basic understanding of AM&F curriculum
- Excellent people skills
- CGCC Manufacturing Certificate preferred
