Staff Accountant

Colton RV & Marine is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join their team. The role focuses on financial reporting, reconciliations, and maintaining the accuracy and stability of the dealership’s accounting department. This is a key contributor to financial operations and a partnership across departments.

Requirements

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable with precision and timeliness.
• Reconcile inventory accounts for RVs, boats, trailers, and parts.
• Track and report manufacturer incentives, warranty claims, and floor plan interest.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare internal financial reports with integrity and attention to detail.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with dealership, state, and federal regulations.
• Identify areas for process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and best practices in accounting.
