Job Description
Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Stablecoin Payments team, focused on building the infrastructure for global finance and enabling stablecoin-based payments. This role involves designing, building, and scaling systems for deposits, withdrawals, and third-party payments, and working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate stablecoin utility into core products. The company fosters a high-intensity, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering.
- Proven experience building and operating large-scale backend systems, ideally in fintech, payments, or crypto.
- Strong proficiency in backend technologies (e.g., Go, Java, or similar) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and system design.
- Experience working with crypto or blockchain technologies is a plus.
- Product-minded approach to engineering and ownership mindset.
