Optical Tech Sr (1st Shift Monday AM to Friday PM 5:30am to 2pm)

The Coherent A&D Integrated Optical Systems business unit is seeking a Precision Optics Specialist for the 1st Shift (Monday AM to Friday PM) to manufacture optical components in a production environment. The role involves preparing equipment, measuring parts, monitoring manufacturing processes, and ensuring quality standards are met. The company specializes in high-precision optics for various scientific and government applications.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 2 years of college or trade school experience
• 5-7 years experience in advanced manufacturing
• Experience operating precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers)
• Understanding of basic shop math
• Regular and sustained standing
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Good visual acuity
