Assembler II

The Optical Assembly Technician is responsible for the precise assembly, alignment, and testing of optical components and systems. They require a strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work with microscopes. The role involves following technical drawings and ensuring product quality and performance standards are met. They will use microscopes, and fine tools. The role may also require experience with ISO standards and EHS regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certificate or associate degree in optics, electronics, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in optical or precision assembly
• Proficiency using microscopes, tweezers, torque drivers, and other fine assembly tools
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
