Job Description
Cochran, a growing civil engineering, construction testing, and land surveying firm, is seeking a Materials Testing Field Technician for their Kansas City, Missouri location. The role involves performing field tests and observations of construction materials, such as concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregate. They focus on high-quality customer service and teamwork.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of prior experience, preferred
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
- Ability to operate handheld tablet and other technical devices
- Willingness to be a team player
