Underwriting Specialist, National Accounts Property

As an Underwriting Specialist, National Accounts Property, you will be responsible for managing a complex book of business, developing specialized endorsement language, and making recommendations on underwriting policy and pricing strategy. You will also analyze quality, quantity, and profitability of highly complex risks underwritten, and mentor less experienced underwriters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Typically a minimum eight to ten years underwriting experience
• Professional designations preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to deal with ambiguous situations and issues
• Creativity in resolving unique and challenging business problems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
• Demonstrated leadership skills
