Job Description
Cloudflare is seeking a Distributed Systems Engineer to join the Data Localization team. The team is focused on building technologies to enhance Cloudflare’s national network and protect against attacks, particularly within federal Data Sovereignty standards. They are looking for a talented individual to contribute to the reliability and performance of Cloudflare's global network. The position involves developing microservices using Rust and Go and leveraging modern Unix/Linux environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience with a technology company
- Experience writing high-quality code in one or more system programming languages (Go, C/C++)
- Experience building and operating distributed systems
- Experience with modern Unix/Linux development and runtime environments
- Excellent debugging skills and attention to details
- Good understanding of TCP/IP and networking in general
