Policy Advisor

Requirements

• Passionate about our work and the mission of Climate Bonds!
• In-depth knowledge and experience of Japan’s energy, finance, and industry policy landscape.
• Clear and concise native-level Japanese speaker who is also confident communicating in English, including strong writing skills.
• Existing network with key government and financial stakeholders (e.g., METI, MoE, JFSA, JICA) and can quickly develop relationships with new market actors and policy makers.
• Multiple years experience of the Japanese policy-making process, with proven ability to identify and leverage influential points of engagement.
• Track record of policy development, advocacy, or advisory roles in climate, finance, or energy.
• Comfortable representing Climate Bonds in high-level policy or public forums.
