Job Description
Maintains operation readiness by upholding safety, quality, and compliance standards. Demonstrates ownership of strategic and tactical initiatives related to machine operations. Serves as a key liaison between production and technical support teams to ensure optimal equipment performance, product quality, and workplace safety.
Requirements
- Proficient in basic operation of at least 3 of the Production Technician specialties
- Maintains tooling and proactively monitors tool wear
- Recommends preventative maintenance tooling equipment on secondary operation machinery as needed
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to contribute ideas for continuous improvement
- Monitors inventory and non-inventory material consumption to help prevent stockouts
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and work orders
- Performs in-process inspections and dimensional inspections of key characteristics and other attributes using inspection devices
- Conducts SPC, reaction plans, and executes control plans as necessary
- Applies knowledge of general safety and organization (6S), Safety Data Sheet (SDS), and Foreign Object Debris/Damage (FOD) requirements
- Applies knowledge of Quality and Environment Management System (QEMS)
- Reports immediately any machine or process challenges and all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a lead or manager
