Process Manager Operations

This role will be responsible for supervising hourly employees within the roll shop environment to meet the required production and quality goals. You will identify activities needed to maintain equipment in top condition, maintain required roll and roll chock inventories within given budget, and have an intimate knowledge of required grinding machine and rolling mill chock tolerances.

Requirements

• Coordinate daily safety communication and monthly safety activities.
• Maintain an active housekeeping program to ensure a safe, clean, and productive facility.
• Communicate within the department and when necessary, with outside departments to ensure a continuous operational flow.
• Investigate operational issues associated with rolls and roll chocks, leads troubleshooting activity, resolves problems, and clearly documents activities.
• Developing and conducting a comprehensive training program.
• Lead a diverse workforce in the completion of these tasks.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize effectively and multi-task.
• Promote a positive work culture by working to increase trust with bargained for workforce and leading by example regarding safety and environmental guidelines.
