Area Manager Maintenance and Engineering

We are seeking an Area Manager in our Windsor, Ontario facility to oversee maintenance and engineering activities at 10 different sites. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a manufacturing facility and be self-motivated.

Requirements

• Direct maintenance managers
• Provide guidance on large repairs and breakdowns
• Incorporate organizational strategy and plans for operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs
• Monitor production metrics and recommend process improvements
• Ensure spare parts inventories are adequate
• Provide guidance on staffing levels and staffing structure
• Create, manage and maintain CAPEX budget
• Host regular meetings with maintenance managers
• Lead project engineers and corporate controls team
• Responsible for fostering good safety culture
