The Settlements Analyst is responsible for managing revenue billing and accounts receivable process for large utility-scale solar and wind plants, understanding contractual stipulations associated with “price” and “quantity”, and managing documents and ensuring regulatory compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. The role collaborates internally with the Accounting team, Asset Management team, and Energy Risk Management team and externally with customers and other third parties.
Requirements
- Energy settlements experience with complex structured transactions and RTO/ISO Settlements
- Fundamental understanding of energy trading risk management (ETRM) systems
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of SAP, general financial reporting software, and applicable power and utilities platforms used for invoicing and recording
- Knowledge of accounts receivable (and to a limited extent) accounts payable process
- Baseline knowledge of the renewable energy industry
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
