Job Description
CLEAR is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to shape and execute its AI platform strategy, from infrastructure to applied intelligence. This role will partner with various teams to design and scale systems that embed AI into CLEAR’s ecosystem, focusing on reliability, scalability, and ethical AI practices. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with experience in AI systems, ML, and cloud-native architectures.
Requirements
- 12+ years in software engineering
- Deep expertise in AI systems, ML platforms, and data infrastructure
- Strong technical background in cloud-native architectures (AWS or similar)
- Experience leading AI strategy and platform adoption in enterprise-scale environments
- Skilled at translating regulatory and compliance requirements into responsible AI practices
- Excellent communicator and strategic thinker.
