Industrial Sandblaster

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Oilsands Sandblasters or Blasting Machine Operators to join their safety conscious team at CNRL Albian! This is a 362 Teamsters Union position with a full rate of $35.81/hour.

Requirements

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Remove dirt, paint, grease, debris and other built-up material from surfaces
• Set up and operate a blast pot, spray pump or similar equipment
• Filling blast pots, maintaining blasting equipment with repairs as needed
• Assist with painting, spray application or brush & roll as needed
• Problem solving in real time and trouble shooting various equipment
• Completes all required paperwork
• Performing field level risk assessments
• Attends daily safety meetings
• Working as a part of a team with customers, coworkers & supervisors
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management
