Job Description
As a Transportation Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will work with project teams on the transportation needs for commercial, institutional, industrial, and energy clients. Your primary focus will be developing PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit (HOP) drawings and applications, preparing local driveway permit applications, and coordinating with local municipalities regarding roadway bonding and inspection requirements.
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil or Traffic Engineering (or a related field)
- 4+ years of professional engineering experience
- E.I.T. required, P.E. is a plus
- Experience with PennDOT, ODOT, or WVDOH permitting
- Traffic analysis and design experience is a plus
- Strong planning and task prioritization skills
- Ability and desire to mentor staff
- Willingness to learn new skills and work in a team setting
