Job Description
As a Solid Waste Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., you will be involved in designing, analyzing, permitting, and preparing drawings and technical specifications for solid waste management facilities, including coal combustion residual (CCR) facilities, and industrial facilities. You will also develop permit application documents, contract drawings, specifications, and estimates for landfills, transfer stations, landfill gas to energy facilities, and recycling facilities.
Requirements
- 10-15+ years experience in the design, permitting, and document preparation of waste disposal facilities
- Some experience with AutoCad design software
- Ability to coordinate the regulatory agency review process
- B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering (M.S. a plus)
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) Licensure or ability to achieve P.E. within the next two years
- Understanding of business principles of consulting projects and related project delivery tools
