We're seeking an enthusiastic individual with substantial technical skill and experience across a broad range of the aviation industry to improve safety performance in New Zealand aviation. The role involves certification of unmanned aircraft operators, safety oversight, and regulatory guidance. You will play a crucial part in promoting safe practices and providing technical guidance on unmanned aircraft.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Systems thinking approach
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of operational standards, procedures, and administrative requirements for Unmanned Aircraft
• Experience in formal risk management systems
• Current commercial pilot licence or equivalent commercial unmanned aircraft pilot qualification and operational experience
