Job Description
The Tennis Tournament Director will organize and run USTA sanctioned junior tournaments in NYC parks. The position involves setting up online registration, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring a smooth tournament experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience running USTA sanctioned tournaments
- Knowledge of USTA Serve Tennis or willingness to receive training on Serve Tennis
- Knowledgeable in USTA Eastern Rules and Regulations
- General knowledge of tennis rules and etiquette
- Ability to work with diverse constituencies
- Exceptional communication skills and work-ethic
- Willingness and ability to carry and transport sports equipment as needed
- Willingness and ability to travel to various park sites
- Compliance with USTA & CPF background check and SafeSport requirements
