The City of Woodstock is seeking a Health and Safety Associate for a temporary contract position. The successful candidate will review health and safety procedures, identify ergonomic hazards, and assist with training programs. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or have completed post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety
• Previous knowledge and/or working experience in the areas of the OHSA and Regulations, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, training program development & delivery, and workplace inspections are considered an asset
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle fluctuating work volumes
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Must have a Class G2 driver’s license in good standing, with use of a reliable vehicle
